Bob Haro Replica
« on: October 02, 2007, 10:40 PM »
Since the dismal response to my sale of haro gen 1 and skyway graphites I have decided to build a bob haro replica. Could someone help out with a list of parts i will need. I dont thinkk he used vector bars at the start but what did he use?

Any pointers would be much appreciated.

Cheers

Nath

Nath check out Romblokes one in the museum  :daumenhoch:
I see you stand like greyhounds in the slips,

Cry 'God for Harry, England, and Saint George!'

Yep, campy hubed front with a coaster rear, not sure that the rear coaster was a graphite though because the only way to tell other than the gold hubs is by looking on the inside of the rim  :-\

Nath ,best bet is to search for a pic of the bike you wanna build and post it up on here and then take it from there. Trouble with building a Bob Haro rep with the gen1 is that his bike changed regular ,so its hard to give a exact spec ,earlier bars were Redline ,still not sure on the stem yet though.
It also depends on how accurate you want the bike to be,Replicas are damn hard to pull off due to usually having to wait for parts to come along that are rare.Things that spring to mind on a bob haro rep is the shot gun seat ,tyres -snakebelly,red dot,or schwinn maximmizers.
