i know i go on about this but i love my 2005 Ripper, its a really good bike...simple as  :coolsmiley:
Have a go of one(if you can find one). They are given a lot of unfair stick because of the brand sale in 97.

quad pro looks like the exact frame as my 04, landing gear look even thinner which don't bode well since mine have twisted.

yeah that seems a bit crap! the original Landing Gear were the thickest forks we'd ever seen at the time & they built a reputation around that!
its a shame we only get a watered down version nowadays! they are the same in name only >:(

The landing gear on my 2005 Ripper are identical to the landing gear on my 84 Ripper dimension wise and materials wise so nothing 'watered down' about them, but i agree that the 2006 Quad Gear looks a bit puny...cant imagine twisting them..you must have been doing some serious stuff. :idiot2: Ow

I've got LG max on my 99 Ripper and they are deffo meatier than the ones on my Quad, which are beefier then the standard race fork

beefier, meatier?

Thats worrying if you didnt give em any stick and they twisted.I dont think i could bend my LG's if i tried. You would think that they would be extra beefy on a quad...it was always the one to thrash as opposed to the Ripper.
I'd cry if i were you.  :'(
