anyone know what brake levers vander used with the rubber bits on in the 84 BMXA ?

If I remember correctly they were just Tech3s with Motocross rubber covers on them!

Yup, Tech 3's with the lever sleeves on them.  I'm 90% sure that's what he'd have been riding.  I don't recall even seeing the tech 4 levers until maybe 86 or so.  Late 85?

Try a vintage motocross spares firm as those covers look like they come from an early 80s Maico or something similar.

The red part are Sharp lever sleeves.  The black part are motorcycle covers.  I used something like these:

The come up on eBay a lot now.  I don't really remember Vander putting the black parts on though.  Maybe just the red sleeves?
