easy come easy go  cash is good when you need it .

Thats what I try to tell myself. Ive only ever regretted one deal (cos I just gave most other stuff away to mates) and that was what I sold to Biagio. He took my aerospeeds (complete, but in need of rechroming) and a hand full of other stuff, 2 other pairs of cranks that I can even bring my self to mention ...... £300!

Man i dont even remember a pic in Invert, have you got it?  You never saw this one? Aww, full page mate, made my life at the time! Did you see that sticker yet?

Ive seen and repliied to the sticker shot?

I will try and find the pic you got in invert tonight

Have you still got those graphites Clive, they`re worth a mint too   :daumenhoch:

Bill, got them from Darren Wood, they were his race wheels, like I said to Alex, just sold them to Biaggio and regretting it......

Did you e-bay them Clive or did Biagio just offer a price ?

Funny he phoned me like three years ago and I said that i would never sell them.  He called again a few months ago and me and the misses were just buying a house and I needed the cash but check the deal: graphites with DB IRC 2.125 front and mongoose snakebelly rear, Son Lite Turbo 1 hubs (ABSOLUTELY MINT, ALMOST NOS) and original Cook Bros Racing cranks, he gave me £700 and I didn't know any better..............gutted......

TBH thats not a bad price from him, not what they were worth obviously, but not too bad from Biagio, did he haggle  :LolLolLolLol:

Oh yes, he offered me £600 and said that these weren't really the ones that people collected, Tim March was with me at the time and he got on the phone and said he was sponsored by skyway and struggled to score a set of these!!  He then moaned when he got them as he said they weren't in good enough condition.  I don't even know this guy but funnily enough in the last week i've heard a few people really slating him. Who is he or this a whole seperate thread???

He's a member on here but he doesnt really post that much. He has sponsored some of the Rad events .... well ... he thought he had, the organisers of the events might have thought different.

Sure, he is running a company so he has got to do what he needs to do, to get by.

Yeah he`s ok Clive, he`s running a business so he needs to make a profit.

TBH he`s just laid out around 12k to buy some stock from Rudewheels, so if he`s willing to take the chances then I suppose he should reap the benifits, after all it could all go tits up tomorrow and he won`t be able to sell it for shit  :crazy2:

I've sold a few things to him via Ebay.  Seems like a decent sort.

He must live a charmed life though, cos normally when I sell a set of NOS SE Racing camo pads (I bought about 10 sets from Shiners back in 1999), they go for close to £200.  On the occasions when they've gone for less, guess who was the winning bidder?  My most recent set "only" went for £107.  Fair play to him though.  That's Ebay for ya.

One of the main reasons I don't collect anymore though is that sometimes the best stuff ends up in the hands of the people who care about BMX the least.

He is OK. He knows is 80s BMX for sure (just like he knows his VWs and Vespas, the other things he deals in) and he has a lot to loose if the money dropped out of old BMX collecting. I go and say hi to him when I see him (MK07). He even rode at the Epic Xmas do last year. Thats always a good sign.

ANYWAY!!!! How come a thread called "ONE FOR THE S&M FANS" has now started talking about Biagio ... someone who about a year ago had never heard of S&M bikes!

I didn't know Biagio did it for a living?  Surely not.  Anyway, business is business so I guess in that regard he deserves best of luck.  If muppets like mw don't know how much thoer stuff is worth then that's not his fault is it?  I reckon i could have sold the Son Lites for a mint, they were almost NOS.

Wouldn't know him from Adam but the chromer was moaning like hell about him and apparently he was a bit devious in buying a frame from Lynchy. I can't talk though I still owe him a Redline Brute stem that I said i'd bung him for moaning about teh graphites!

Anyway, Alex is right, this is not a Biagio thread!
