Doesn`t look great does it, mind you it might look better as just a f/f, the parts on it don`t do it any favours  :(
I see you stand like greyhounds in the slips,
Straining upon the start. The game's afoot:
Follow your spirit, and upon this charge
Cry 'God for Harry, England, and Saint George!'

I probably wouldn't say no to the F&F for nostalgic reasons but who the hell came up with that as the finished bike? what an idiot.

I mean if you're going to go retro, go retro ffs.

This is why SE/Fuji are finding a market.

I was really hoping that wasn't going to be the Retro Freestyler  :'(

Like Bill says, maybe as a frame and fork set it won't be so bad and will give us some latitude to build it as it should be  >:D

Obvious parts that let it down from the pic are the tyres (WTF?), seat, chainring and pedals  :(.

Bob's right, SE have at least tapped into the retro feel and the more I look at that Ripper the more I like it  :-\

i think youre right, at least if they'd have sold it as a f&f kit it would have retained a little credibility, the bike just looks a bit of a cynical half hearted attempt,

lets hope they go they same way as the retro-sport though eventually :LolLolLolLol:
cheap as chips on e-bay, i'd have one for £90!

why though? SE hit the nail on the head with that black gold ripper.

How hard can it be?

The kids aint gonna want it.  So why dont they just sell it as a frame and forks set, like SE's quad!

not good at all ... I also expect it will only be available as a complete bike and the frame will be low quality chinese made.

Oh dear. That's a real shame.

Like others have said, how hard can it be? How much reference can be found on Freestylers? And at what point did they think "Hey, we've cracked it!" ????

FFS. I was a big supporter of this project and I feel let down. In fact, where's 'Egg Face' when you need him?

Top man  :4_17_5:

Frame looks OK, welds not bad and the chrome is quite bright.  Components suck  :LolLolLolLol:

Shame they couldn't keep the original fork design  :-X

i'm pleased to see the pics dingo :daumenhoch:
glad it's not finished actually,

frame, forks and bars for me everytime!
not that i'd buy one like :LolLolLolLol:

it gives the frame a little credibilty and status letting the buyer build it up as a custom build,

maybe there idea was to release the frame with all the parts bin shit so that folk could use it straight out of the box?
kind of upgrade it as they go along,
folk on here have been doing that with the sport retro's and they look way better each time i see them,

i wont comment on the parts spec as you all probably know what i'm thinking anyway :LolLolLolLol:

the frame,
looks good at first glance, sticking to the original design is all good, the chromes nice too,
gen-1 stickers are nice,

the holes on the dropout look like an after thought but they'd line up in production i'm sure,
leave the fooking gyro tabs off for heavens sake though a simple push fit type plate is enough and gives the builder an option to not run one,

internal headset? wtf? shouldnt that say "inegrated headset"?

seriously though,
SE have pulled up there socks in this "retro game" and so they should,
alot of time, effort and love went into starting these brands bitd, theres a responsibility to do it justice,

the main area they should be concentrating on is a massivley high build quality and doing the old gen-1 bikes justice, they werent cheap starter bikes bitd!
if haro fooks this one up,

O/S heads are watching :daumenhoch:
