Re-chroming help please.
« on: November 21, 2005, 02:18 PM »
Hi All,

I have some Araya 1.5s, and the chrome is lifting off them. Does anyone know where I can get them re-chromed cost effectively, as I'm skint!

Also any approximate prices would help.

Cheers, Adey.

Not really worth it to be honest, as it would cost you as much as a new set.

Cheaper if you were to have a bunch of stuff done all at the same time.

Approx cost £50/60 squid

Thanks fella.

Do you think these rims would be okay, as I think I could selvedge the spokes and hubs from mine.

It says some of the chrome is coming off, so I'm not too sure. I do want to race the bike.

Any help would be greatly appreciated as I'm under a no budget scheme!!
