Floval polishing

Got one of the last USA built flovals in baby blue.  thinking of polishing it, does anyone know who can do a cracking job? Alternatively anyone got a ball burnished one to trade?

Just aquired this last month (Loopy Floval) , it was originally Painted, came out a treat,

I believe PK Radman (Lee) got Biagio (at Vert-ego) to do the Polishing work, so may be worth asking Lee....

I love Flovals, any pics of yours? What year is it ?

Not sure what year mine is, I reckon 96'ish.  Baby blue with chrome landies.  I love it because the geometry is pretty 'now' and I want to race it next year.  It's got a mix of old and new school parts including a Shimano DX seatpost (havene't seen many of those around here).

Not sure if it's going to polish up well, if not i'm going to powdercoat it white.

they're Repro's from JJR in Belgium mate - didn't want to pay £200 plus for originals !


Looking for 24" Blue Araya's or UKAI's for the Floval, if you know of any

Just looked at my saddle angle, i'm running a shimano dx post back to front, do you reckon shimano were anticipating the future there and made it reversible? Uncanny!

have a go yourself mate,i did this with a bench polisher,it was well oxidised and damaged it had been outside for 5 years behind my garage...

yeah, can be an issue, there are a couple of slight 'flat' areas where the welds were polished just a little too hard on the Floval, but not really that noticable....

the secret to not polishing out welds is to use a slower motor ,takes a bit longer but its worth it to keep them lovely welds i use a 1400 rpm motor which less than half the speed a polisher would use
