Landing Gear -v- Landing Gear Lite

Could someone please tell me what the difference is (I know the Lites are a liter/racer version of the original LG, but would they be able to take my weight, sketchiness)?

smaller diameter tubing,1 inch i think.

yeah, they are as strong as any other standard old school pro fork at least, gt pro, hutch, kuwi etc, but ive seen some mini landing gear forks decced up as lites and i wouldnt trust them for an adult rider.
