hi there,

i have just been given an old school bmx made by motobecane. i am having trouble finding out any information on the bike. if any one can help me that would be great.

weren't they french?  If they where double chevron or frdavid might be able to help as they are french  :daumenhoch:

Yes, djb. Motobecane was french before turning to MBK (in association with Yamaha), the Motobecane brand still exists in the US.
No more France related, I guess it's just the style of the name that sounds exotic to them US guys.

Looks like a repainted 1983 MX102, drop me a line if you wanna get rid of the wheels and tyres.
Not really sought after even in farnce as the original parts and decals are quite impossible to find.
