Street Beat Biker Build Off
« on: November 19, 2005, 12:19 AM »
I noticed on that other site that they were having a street beat building contest, so I thought why not do the same here.
We have already got some good examples already built (Dave), but with all the unpainted ones arriving soon why don't we have a healthy bit of compitition to see who can build the best bike.
I don't think it should be a throw as much money as possible at it style of contest, just about which bike looks the most asthetically pleasing to look at.
How about a closing date of the end of April
Let me know who wants to enter and I'll add your names to the list.

Zippy
Moose
Dordy
Ash
Flaz
DazBMXIt
Gmac

Come on there should be more than this.

I guess it's for any street beats that are out there. Yours is going to be hard to beat though.

I've got a variation on yours in mind though. It should look the dogs.

I know what you me as well. That's why it's just going to be a comp on which one looks the best.
Having hutch beartraps and redline flights isn't what I want this to be about. It's just about which Street Beat looks the best.
With all the unpainted and green beats about there should be quite a few entries for this one.

Excellent, git it built and get it up on the site.

I think in oreder to keep things a bit of a surprise nobody should show they're finished bikes until the last day. That way everyone will be really surprissed at who's built what. What does everyone think. Good idea or bad idea.
Obviously for those that have already built your streetbeat and put pictures up that's ok, just gives us something to aim at.
Who's going to knock Dave off his StreetBeat perch.

Looks like our Street Beat frames may be here soon from Ed. He's suffered a bit in the recent Hurricane and he's apparently dispatched them.
So looks like we're all going to be having a busy January then.
