Hersden today - 16th September 2007
« on: September 16, 2007, 09:22 PM »
What an amazing meeting today!!  Over 100 riders including I think it was 22 in Old School.  Well done to Buckmore Bat for taking todays homours and to Zippy for clinching the overall Hersden Series.  I'm sure there will be loadsa posts from some of the miscreants who performed todays dodgy moves and deeds so I'll leave it to them to say exactly what happened.  My boys and I thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and thank Justin Essen and Tony Knott for running the meetings.  Todays' Series trophies were quality.  Humps

PS:  I got a couple of sponsers for my 24-mile ride but could use some more http://www.radbmx.co.uk/forum/index.php'topic=44122.0 .  Why not join me http://www.cottagehospice.org.uk/cycle07.html  Humps

I put this on the other thread, but ya can't say thanks too many times.

So thanks to Hersden BMX (Justin, Tony and Terry in particular) for putting on a top day and big up to all the riders for making it so entertaining.

Good to meet some more Radsters and cool to hear that quite a few will be signing up for 40+ cruiser next season  :daumenhoch:  If today's cruiser racing is anything to go by, 40+ cruiser is gonna be a lot of fun next year  :)

Impressive day today, with every place hard fought for. I loved sams face when he did the Number 1.....

My sat nav went haywire in the final and somehow ended back on the start hill :crazy2:

Well done OS queen who stuffed Bill stup, meddle and KDW 712 as well as a few others..

I was so gutted me an zippy never actually met in a race, oh well there will be a next time >:D

Terry, Justin and TK should be well proud tonight, one of the best organized and friendly races I have ever been too. :4_17_5:

Well done all once again for yet another fantastic days racing. Took a while for me to get into the swing of riding cruiser but got up to speed in the end and loved it.
Maybe this deserves another thread but I just want to express my heartfelt gratitude for the OSSS. Without which I would never had got back into racing. Neither I would have guessed at the begining of the season that I'd be signing up for racing 40+ cruiser next year.
Old School rocks!!!

I was a fooking fantastic day yesterday.  There was some great racing and loads of laughs and banter.  Seeing sam do zippy in the A final and the look in his face as he came over the line and throwing his bike in the air in celebration was priceless!!!
A big thanks to TK and Justin for running a great meeting :4_17_5:
