i think the tao was 97/98. don't hold me to it but i'm sure 96 was a little early! ig ot my first standard in august 1996 and the tao wasn't around then.

the trailboss then became trls 250 also:

the bicycle motocross became the 125 then 125 r with the introduction of ox plat tubing

trls 250 ox
sta 500 ox
250 s
250 L
also the destoyer 50. (i think that was its name) it was either a 16" or 18" sta for toddlers!

nah man the tao was earlier than that..  a quick glance at the video shelf shows props 13 to be march 96 which had that sick osicka advert with front wheeel boomerangs and the beatles song on his new red Tao..   and it was in ads in Tread which didn't really get past 1996!

harris your more than likely correct. i'm pretty sure they lengthened the toptube to move with the times in the mid 90's

its a bit of a mystery,

the 125r i had for awhile was supposed to be "21 tt but when i measured it centre-to-centre it was actually "21.25,

strange too as they were made at waterford "precision" :LolLolLolLol:

remember that standard frames also get made in custom sizes too!
