Hi there. I saw you recently bought a set of VDC handle bars. I'm very sure you know what these are concidering you give $190 for them. But I wanted to let you know there are only 3 pair of these known to be made by VDC. The last pair on ebay had an ending bid of $700 and didn't meet the reserve bid. I talked to the seller and he said the chrome wasn't perfect on these but they are still a very very impossible set of bars to find. I am guessing it is the particular size that is rare cause fish n craig have at least 3 sets between em    So should I get them re-chromed as was my original wont or should they be left as is?

Got any pics you'd care to share?  Be interested to know what the fook they look like to deserve the "only 3 pair of these known to be made by VDC" claim

Will get some better pic's when they land basically they are monkey bars but they have a 10 and a half inch rise which is what allegedly makes them so rare

I've got a pair with that rise and it's the second pair I've had in a year....

They do look big, my wife thought they were two feet high but what does she know  

I thought they made a quite large Pro sized bar, I'm sure I've got an ad somewhere - but I could be wrong

Best put a flashing light on em if you go out with en on a bike in poor visibility, and also look out for any 737's flying strangely low and eratically in your direction.

I think the guy ( Mike maybe ? ) is getting mixed up with the 7 inchers being the rare ones ? ( sometimes referred to as cruiser bars ) .

There were only 4 or so sets of those made allegedly .
