Its always worth digging around your local bike shop....
« on: September 02, 2007, 09:04 PM »
I went into my local aladdins cave of a bike shop today as I was passing by, and had a rummage through their stuff... and there on a shelf right at the back  was a MINT still in the packet Tuf Nek power connection powerdisc in gleaming silver!
Brilliant!
I also found a diamond back 90's black spider in the packet, so he said he wanted  £10 for the DB one [which was a bit steep as its not that rare] but I went for it as he said if I bought it, he'd 'throw in the other one' for free... perfect!!!!!
Happy days.

I got a nos 1pc mongoose crank and bottom bracket set for £20 from my local bike shop  :smitten:

The owner says a few years back binned a lot of old BMX shite  :tickedoff:
wheels bars pads etc as he couldn't sell it  :'(
was a mongoose dealer too

All those pro class wheels etc in the bin  :(

He is however gonna have a good rake about for me in the next week or 2 ,
fingers crossed
