What i mean is we used to have the 'Alan's old school series' and shouldn't this be the RADBMX OSS?

i may be on a wrong un but it's been something i've been thinking about  and i've been on the sauce, like i do, and maybe i should have put the feelers out the the rest of the crew to see how they thought about it and all that but fook it. So where do RADBMX.CO.UK fit into it all?

YEAH we haven`t really done a lot in the OSS APART from sponsor a couple of rounds, oh and 'give' them their ''own section'', but tbh it`s been run by themselves and they`ve done a very good job, so if it`s not broken........................

I see you stand like greyhounds in the slips,
Straining upon the start. The game's afoot:
Follow your spirit, and upon this charge
Cry 'God for Harry, England, and Saint George!'

Cant really see what their is to discuss. but Radbmx is where we discussed and created the OSSS07, and without Rad, Im sure it wouldnt exist. But it wasnt a Rad series.

I was going to announce officially the new sponsors once the Winter dates were announced, but now seems a good time!!!

RADBMX

DIALLED BIKES

ALANSBMX.COM

There is also a possibility of two others, I wont drop any hints now, but I am waiting for both to confirm.

With this amount of support I cant see the need to call the series a radbmx series, but Rad is the home of the OSSS07 and OSSS08.

Its nice we are getting so much interest but where is this question going exactly? In the big sea of BMX the OSS is a tiny droplet, lets not make us too big too soon and lets remember why we started this in the first place, some old and new friends getting together to race Old School BMXs and have a fooking good laugh and as Bill said, if it ain't broke, why fix it? ???
Oh Bill nice one on making the final and representing you Freestylers :4_17_5:

Well said Sam and Lee....... Oh and Bill is the new DVD seller on the block >:D did me on the final straight in one of the motos.

And I think it needs mentioning just how good Bill was, not one lap for practice, 1 footed starts, last out the gate, but a smooth and skilled rider, a pleasure to have on the gate. Well done Bill  :daumenhoch:

Bill did really well and would be right up there if he spent some more time racing.

Oh and his bike was also a big help.

Ok, the question about RADBMX and the OSS

First and foremost, Rad is the home of the OSS, it was created by members of Rad, me, bmx796 and Nishiki14, with the help and support of the original riders, Jim, Flaz, Hooga and co.

We used Rad for our discussions and ideas, and without Rad there would not be an OSS.

Contrary to popular belief, Rad is not a million pound business, and is not owned by millionaires.

Rad and its owners have supported us this year, have given us our own section and are willing sponsors for future OS series.

There have been rumors that Rad did not support us at the start, maybe not, but there are over 3000 members here, we had 6 OSS riders when we started,
do the maths everyone.
Rad has to please all its members all the time. offering to sponsor 6 out of 3000 just doesn't add up.

So come on you lot, Rads our home, the OSS is part of Rad, maybe not owned or controlled by rad, but a part of the big BMX family that make up Rad. Lets stop all the jibber now and do what we do best, enjoy riding our kids bikes, FAST.

Thanks

Spot on and well said.
And sorry Sam for missing your name, I'm a right plonker and have done that before I think. Credit where it is definitely due and you have all worked your arses of

By the way (rather than starting another thread) do any of you know who at BadBMX is trying to get new race gear/shirts ordered? My brother's firm had an enquiry about it and if you go through him you might get some £ off.
