The Price of brakes.....
« on: August 20, 2007, 07:22 PM »
DC 901 brake sets in black are all dried up so a web site we all know, will soon up the price so
get them now before it happens.

Other colours are starting to run low.

Just thought you should all know before they start heading towards the crazy mx900/1000
prices.

 ;) :D >:D  :daumenhoch:

I noticed that Alan's wer actually the most expensive for 901's at the moment at £55 with Biagio £10 behind.

Coloured 901's are also getting much more scarce. Just sold a set of Reds for £40 which I thought was fair to me and the buyer. :daumenhoch:

I expect these brakes to get very expensive over the next year though so it would probably be wise to get some while they're cheap, or in 3 years we'll all be complaining about £150 black 901's.  :LolLolLolLol:

The Brake prices are a disgrace, the main sellers on ebay are too blame as they are of no help to this sport they are like vultures price fixing everything. buying headsets of Alan from Denmark for 30 pound and advertising them on the bay for 100  :wtf:
Me for one will not buy fook all from these guys and we all know who they are... what chance does some new member have of building up his dream bike now.
I like alot of members on here have actually given parts away for the price of postage to help our brothers in time off need, I wish these parasites would get the fook out of this buisness so we can all enjoy our dreams of building up our dream bikes from yesteryear at fair prices. :daumenhoch:

what's really needed is annodizing business'. then all the old gear that's faded can be redone all at the same time to achieve uniform colours, then the need for NOS would diminish enough to force prices down.
