late 80s to mid 90s frame sets
having their own race along side
but still seperate to old school.
as it seems there is a gap that might bulster
attendence and a bigger meeting.
a list of frames that can only be used maybe even parts.....your thoughts
it might even help you all with a little longer recovery time between motos

Tbh Dan, the late 80s frames are welcome in the series as long as they comply with the 1" and caliper brake rules. I have only seen 1 mid school race bike line up with us, and that was a GT fueller. I am not sure there is enough Mid race bikes and riders about?

it was only a thought ,
as i bet alot of mid school frames are hanging up with nothing to do.
so i was just seeing if they might get out to stretch there legs.

You guys have it pretty much spot on in terms of rules and regulations - keep it nice and simple to attract more people. I don't think it matters what year the bike is from as long as it meets the 1" shafted stem and caliper brake that doesn't work rule.

Mid-school was really the start of new school (e.g. the GT Fueller mentioned above had a 1.125" clamp-on stem and canti-lever (pre-V-brake) mounts, and a lot of those bikes would still be good by today's standards (e.g. Fueller, S&M Holmes & Dirt Bike, etc).

Im keen on the "old schools" stem and brake rule. As has been said, it keeps it simple.

I say, get yourself a nice mid school bike (some were A-head and most were 990 / canti) and bust that bad boy in NS class! Im sure we would all get our asses kicked but it would turn a few head on the gate and what better way to get faster on the track!
