« on: August 19, 2007, 01:35 PM »
:) I am considering a new steel race frame.Anyone have any recommendations? Must be 20.5 toptube.I already have 2 Redlines and a Supercross which is poss the nicest frame that I have ever ridden, and have previously had an S&M r.v.

                  Thanks,

                    James

A Curtis this exactly the same as a 125R. They got Chris Jackson's 125R and jigged it up and copied it exactly when he started riding for them a few years ago.

I've raced a 125R for 4 or 5 years now and I still love it, if I got another frame it would be a Curtis or another Standard, tough choice to make. :-\

Mike is bringing out a new Dialled frame soon, it's an MX'R' and guess what the angles are the same as a........

It's up to you, do you want a bike made in the USA, England or Tiwan. Mike does loads for the English race scene and should be supported, Curtis are English crafted and a huge part of the UK race heritage, and Standard are one of the finest bikes on the market. You could argue the toss over this one for days.

Then I've got an S&M RV crowser and I like that a lot, I do like the 20"ers too, I would love to have one of those one day as well.

Not helping much am I. ;D

I didnt go much on the Statts I've ridden, the back ends were too long.

Dialled MX20 frame and fork on sale for £125.00 available in white, red or grey.

The best bloody frame I have ever ridden.

www.dialledbikes.com

Buy one or else  :knuppel2:

Also consider putting an atomlab 40mm stem on it available from chain reaction cycles, would suit your size.

Thanks for the props, Lee and Miles  :daumenhoch:

James, I just got an e-mail saying you'd sent me a PM but I didn't get a PM.  You can contact me at info@dialledbikes.com

As Lee says, the MX20 frame and forks are on offer now for £125 (including UK delivery) as I only have 20.5" frames left now so I'm selling them off cheap so I can raise funds to bring out the new (more race inspired frames) in time for next season.  The MX20 isn't an out and out race frame, I designed it as a frame that would be good to race on but also tuff enough to ride trails, but plenty of people have raced on the MX20s over the last few seasons and done well on them (e.g. Shaun Andrews won the Masters No.1 title on it last season and Antony Tuffs just won the 19+ No.1 title on his MX20 this season).  Plenty of rad lads like Terry Green, Ryan Dick and Dan Clifford also use them for getting rad on!
