AERO REFLEX FRAMES
« on: January 21, 2006, 10:55 AM »
HI THESE AERO REFLEX FRAME AND FORKS WHY ARE THEY SO CHEAP? THEY LOOK PRETTY GOOD. WHAT ARE PEOPLES OPINIONS ON THESE. DOES ANYONE CURRENTLY RIDE ONE OR HAS ANYONE PREVIOUSLY RIDDEN THEM.

BASICALLY ARE THE FRAMES GOOD ENOUGH TO BOTHER PUTTING SOME QUALITY PARTS ON OR ARE THEY JUST A PILE OF JUNK.

I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW WHAT PEOPLES VIEWS ARE PLEASE.

THANKS FROM bodamus ;)

Hi..  I own one.   Bought it in the summer, it has aero zytecs on it.
Have only ridden it a couple of times.  Looks stunning.  Think they were good bikes but poorly marketed or came as f+f only.  Good for the money I reckon.  Got mine for 110 built up all NOS.. Bargain
Feels like it would take a bashin.  Good welds and bigger tubing

The Aero F+F is fantastic value for money in my opinion

100% 4130 frame with Reynolds 531 fork. Excellent chrome with fantastic welds . . . you can't go wrong for £35.00

I have just built one into a GT Performer Replica . . . . this is gonna be ridden rather than used as a show bike

I am gonna carefully remove the rear standers when I find time cause they are flippin' ugly

Buy one Ian . . . I'm glad I did  ;)

buy one mate, BITD these were fairly expensive f&f around £130 for chrome. some site and retailers were selling these at £100 plus not to long ago, then a few turned up on the bay at silly prices, iknow who was selling them. i think once their gone the price will go back up for the remaining ones out there. i've got one i'm building up at the moment. grab a bargin while you still can. old school parts are going up quicker than houses.  :2funny: :2funny: :2funny:

CHEERS GUYS THIS ONE WAS GOING TO BE A RIDER SOMETHING I CAN TRASH REALLY. EVERYTHING I HAVE IS A BIT TO NICE TO RISK MANGALING UP. SO AT THIS PRICE I MAY JUST HAVE TO PURCHASE ONE.

SO WHO IS DOING THE CHEAPEST DEALS ON THEM AT THE MOMENT THEN?

THANKS FROM bodamus ;)

No one really Ian . . . both Alan's and Vert-ego are selling them for £45.00 inc shipping

You may be lucky to win by bidding on the bay but they normally creep up to and sometimes over the BIN price anyway

If you buy one give me a shout and we can meet up to put them through their paces if you like . . . should be a chuckle  :)

Cheers mate

Steve

THAT WOULD BE GOOD TO ME UP STEVE AND GIVE THEM A THRASHING. IF I DON'T GET AN AERO I WILL GET SOMETHING TO RIDE. I should have KEPT THE RICKMAN FREESTYLER THAT would have DONE THE JOB.

CHEERS FROM IAN :daumenhoch:

Go for it, very nice, underated frame. I thought we were going to have a Aero build off. I like them GT stickers on that one. Good work. Might treat mine to a set,

That looks sweet Ad . . . . always liked a black on chrome theme . . . . nice build  ;)

The GT decals cost me nearly as much as the F+F which defeated the object of a budget build but WTF !!!

Is yours a rider too then mate

Steve
