After seeing Bailee at Rom a couple of weeks ago, i thought it was about time i got my son on it.
So took a trip to Custom Riders and got him a new ride.
The smile on his face when i suprised him with it was worth every penny.
Now i cant get him off it
Thats ma boy!
Just got to get him off the stabilisers now.
Sean.
Oh and NO Trev, he doesn't want any proper barends.........cos he's got fit ones.

Nice pics. How old is your boy?
I can recomend taking off the stabalisers AND the pedals. Then he can push around for a bit with his feet close to the floor. My eldest has just got to the point where he cruzes about with his feet on the BB shell. Wont be long now!

Yep, as long as the date works with me and I can make it, I will be at epic for sure. I think the 3 others who came with me last time are all up for it too, as are about 6 mates who didnt come (they will have to wait and see if there are any spaces tho).
Maybe I will actually realise who you are this time sean, and I'll say Hello properly!

great.... that's all we need.... a 4 year old ringer...
i can just see it now... he comes down rom saying it's his first time and his dad has only just bought him a bike then goes on to pull tyre taps and manuals....
tell you what sean, he looks just like you.... the only difference is that his dad has some quality Proper Bar Ends and the poor bairn has to make do without...

Oh Bless him, his well cute.
Our son broke his stabiliser off his bike when he was 3 because I told him he couldnt have a real motorbike (which he still really wants) because he couldnt even ride a pedal bike without stabilisers!!! Matthew took the other stabiliser off and after 1 weekend, a lot of determination on his part and also his legs were SMOTHERED in bruises..
he taught himself to ride without stabilisers at 3 years old and never looked back
Stabilisers are a bit like pull up nappies .. all the time they have them theyll use them but if they dont have them they'll just get on without them soon enough

looks great, wish i had a bike like that when i was that age
the stabiliser thing is different with each kid , coral only started riding when she was 7, she wasnt interested before, at 7 she asked me to take the stabilisers off, 5 mins later she was flying along, and you cant get her off it now
