Is there some kind of problem with trick stars and chains?

The chain has fallen off monkeybiscuits bike and mark j's is missing all together!

I've been putting my trickstar today, and the chain is way to big, it came straight off a Performer, thats my guess with monkey biscuits. Bloody nice bike there.

Liking all the trickstars posted ere, so does any one on RAD have a MkII ?

Is the MK2 the one with the silly looking rear end that used to break alot?  Sorry if you've got one, I'm sure it looks great  :daumenhoch:

thought the black one looked the mutts nuts, but the gold plate just about says it all.

As mentioned earlier in this topic as camp as a camp thing :) But Fooking cool at the same time.

I'm definitely keeping my trickstar under wraps now. :-X

i used to have a chrome trickstar with everything chrome...even the nuts and bolts...used to make a weekly trip to mason's to spend my hard earned cash on chrome plating
still the best looking bike...even if it has wafer tubing like a tin can

I'm gonna upset a few people hear I can feel it  ::)

I hate Hutch Tricks Stars with a passion, I think they were/are the most over rated bikes built as was most of their parts. Stupidly over priced with no justification for the huge price tag at all. I've seen loads break, bend etc. so I'm obviously missing something.

Please don't get me wrong, I appreciate the work that's gone into the ones on this post and they do look the nuts but I just don't get the high value thing. If they where completely indestructible then maybe I could see it.

As for the Trick Star II, don't even get me started!

Really sorry if offended anyone but it's just my opinion guys.

you ever riding one bitd as they were the best bike in the air as so much more easier to play with than a master or sport as they were very loose ie wild i say
yes they broke but then so did haro`s as they never understood that you need the plate underneath the seat tube . understand if you don`t like them as i don`t like quad`s much but then can`t say to much as never rode one

I have rode one yes mate, one of my mate bitd had one and I just couldn't get on with. However, I've never felt more comfortable on a ramp or in a bowl than on my early Sport (84) which I had. I loved my Performer too but my Sport was by far the best bike I had....horses for course as they say!

What is the head angle of a trickstar? It looks way steep? I guess even more so cos its got a semi leading axle slot.
