axle thread sizes

Is a standard 3/8ths axle 26tpi ?

Are Skyway Axles 24tpi ?

i think that the rear axle on tuff 2s were 24 tpi and the fronts were 26tpi, but i bought a set of 24" skyways and they both were 26tpi
but most axles are 26tpi
no doubt il be corrected if im wrong

Freewheel and coaster axles had different threads.  For the life of me though, I can't remember which was which.......

Counting down to knee sugery now, I see the surgeon on the 21st and it should all happen pretty quickly after that.  Then 6-9 months rehab........ 


Now I think of it, coaster axles were 24tpi.   I think......
