« on: November 15, 2005, 09:22 AM »
Been offered this ..

Been stored in a loft for donkey's. Needs tyres, but apparently it's original.

Any ideas what it's worth ?

It is the el cheapo one but they are still sought after.

I wouldn't pay £120 for it tho...

there was a battered one on ebay a few weeks ago that went quite cheaply, can't remember exact figure though ::)

apparently the ET models were the bikes produced in the largest numbers so aren't the rarest or most desirable! but then they are a bit of history i suppose :-\

The end of the day, they are not a great bike, and they have poo parts in comparison, but they have a lot of retro value as they are ET stylie!

I recon £350 and you should get one.

Wise words mate  ;)

I'd just like to ad one to the growing collection, as they are one of the best known old school bikes.

The Grand prix was entry level mongoose
trimoly frame, steel forks - was Uk only as well i thinks
it was the only non loop goose in the range ammaco's bikes aside

£120 aint no bargin thats for sure, try £50 and see what happens if he says no keep looking for the ET  ;D

wise move

but if you got it cheap you could make some parting it out

bars & wheels go well on ebay
the rest would be so so and some luck !

i sold a Grand Prix F&F and steel pro class wheels for £150
just luck, cos seen completes go for a lot less
but thats ebay for ya

I can give you the seller's contact details if you like, but I haven't got time to 'break' it.
