Now that is really bad lacing, I think we should send them a link to my wheel lacing how to.

It is the sticky topic at the top of this Tech and Restoration section, called 'Stidds wheel build how to'.

Hi,

I recently bought some new spokes, they were described as suitable for small flange hubs, but after i tried the first one i found out that they were too long (about 5mm). I am a complete novice at lacing wheels (hence my not knowing that there are different lengths)  but after reading Stidds "how to" guide I thought i'd give it a go. Anyway, after asking around i was told that they might be ok if i laced them in the 4cross patern.

So this is just to ask Stidds or anyone else if they have any advice or tips on how to lace them 4cross, other wise i guess i'll have to sell them on.

   Cheers, Phil.
