Righto...

Bought of E bay for £10 a bit battered and a few quite bad scratches

right next a black and decker mouse and a 320 grit pad , approx 20mins later

next by hand emery cloth at 800 and 1500 using loads of water for about 30 mins

next back to the black and decker mouse and some plastic polishing compound (xerapol )£5.50 from car spares shop , first use it with a scouring pad for approx 15 mins , then a sponge pad same plasic polish for a further 15 mins , then an old cloth and t cut for about 10 mins , finally polish off with standard wax car polish

add some new decals

The only problem is that the Kashi Aero is a stippled/rough type finish ( on the top ) , any abrasives could smooth this out leaving a patchy seat ? .

yeah i thought that matt
i suppose the only way to do it would be to smooth the whole top surface down and polish it all
which would be completely wrong and pointless
back to the drawing board :-[
