Peugeot Frames
« on: August 13, 2007, 01:54 PM »
Hi guys,

some years ago (over 10) I bought a frameset my local bike shop was flogging off cheap. It was stickered as a Peugeot frame and forks set. It was a twin top tube design frame. I subsequently sold it on but to date I have not seen another one. I was wondering if anyone had one too or any info on them? I've seen the Peugeot in a museum site but is nothing like this one.

Cheers ahead
Dan

i don't know why, but the peugeot twin top tube frame to me sounds like it would be the same as a rebel/faze7 frame

I must confess I dont know anything else about them either...what were they like. I sometimes wondered if the shop had the frame and restickered it as a peugeot as he was a dealer in peugeot road bikes

I had one !    It was chrome with black stickers (clear writing with black edges)  as I remember it was a good frame and forks, no one else I knew had one.  As far as I know my dad bought it from Halfords.

Sadly I managed to snap it just behind the head tube after trying a drop off from a garage roof  :-(
