Got these blue skyways im trying to get the braking marks off the rim,
so far tried wire wool with hob cleaner next will be the fookin chizel (god knows how to spell it)

any magic formulas out there guys

I got the marks off my white ones with a stanley knife blade , just dragged it across a few times  :shocked:

wet n dry... use coarse grade for starters to get all the marks out and then a couple of finer grades to finish smooth  :daumenhoch:

Steel wool WD40 and Washing up Liquid very hot water worked for me.

easy way is to bolt axle in a vice so ya can spin the wheel
and then ya get a even finish then

I found mde grit wet and dry worked well, but left them dull...a  little car wax that is slightly abrasive bought them back to the correct shine though

apparently if you put them in the freezer, it will straighten them, clean off the brake rub marks, regrease the hubs, find your car keys, walk the dog, and put the "ram" in the rammer dammer ding dong

iv got the same problem on my light blue skyways on my quadanngle , all i did was fly round the block and keep breaking so that it gets an even black mark all the way rouns so it looks like its meant to be there ( no seriously i did) job done  :daumenhoch:
