« on: August 06, 2007, 12:22 PM »
the racing was great this year at mk 07   :daumenhoch:  but the mix was mainly very good riders and the odd guy who has never done it before, including me , buti realy enjoyed it, im just wondering if next year we could hav 2 classes in the 20 OS etc make it even ,and save chasing hard for last place   :2funny:  i was in my last race and rob (pickle) was in it , and we had fun at the back , crashes and all sort , you would have thought we was fighting for first place , but it was a buzz i want forget  :daumenhoch:  any way whats the thoughts on 2 classes  :daumenhoch:

when they first put up the race schedule, i saw zed walking up to check when he was racing. i told him i saw his name under the pro class and didn't realise he was riding pro. the look on his face was priceless...  :2funny:

At least he raced Trev  never see you lined up >:D

I agree with you paul, perhaps anyone who has made an A or B final at MK 07 or 06 should race an expert class next time :daumenhoch:

At 04 and 05 it was run that way as r'sed and not r'sed classes

and guess what

barring 6 or 7 people everyone run in the not R'sed class  .......

so 06 and 07 was run as a free for all

cheers Kev

Like Kev said arsed/not arsed doesnt work.  Maybe there could be 2 divisions, depending on your previous years results?  :)

I think the answer is to get racing a bit earlier next year so that every one has time to stick arround for there final, that way each gate is a line up of simalar abilities.

H to D finals, I would say ther was only 12-15 riders at the gate, there should have been 40.

Bournemouth 05 was a joke with 2 classes (less than one gate of "expert riders" (and some very fast novices  :knuppel2:) the one class idea with a final for every one is SOOO much better
Why oh why do I still buy kids bikes!

At the first Alans old school national they did a ex pro class and an am class. TBH I dont think the ex pro class was any faster than the am class, it just had a few big names in it.

If you want to do well you have to practice loads, simple as. After all it's racing isn't it, it's ment to be compeitive. The blokes who won the old school class at MK this year are hardly regulars on the national scene, they were just the best at riding dodgy old bikes. ;)

we have discussed this for the OSS and tbh the opinion was to leave it as is, we had one guy enter the series who blew everyone away, Martin Parker, he hadnt raced for years and found the OSS a way to get back into racing, he is now having some superb races, the latest at Daggers with tony Flemming, Tony Slater and Craig Schofield, he was mixing it for sure,
The Radbash is a one off showcase, where everyone is welcome to race, and to be honest if Greg Hill and Stu was lined up with me on the gate, I would be proud, not worried about loosing :daumenhoch:
