New Imitation Skyways
« on: July 23, 2007, 01:54 PM »
went into my local bike shop at the weekend and they are selling black imitation skyways.

Can't wait to start seeing these on a new school bikes.

They look really brittle. Anyone else seen them?

They have no markings so don't know who makes them.

it's bad
next will be welded on pegs n handles

a good mag wheel would be good
those new tuffs are about as good as things will get!
bike shops should stock them.

but shitty copy shite ones. just shite. just a way for some shitty parts supplier to offload shitty wheels to unsuspecting buyers.

shitty shit shite!

Gra totally agree about the skyways being in the shops rather than cheap copies, but it's a start.

I'm sure if the dodgy ones sell and the shops see a market the Skyways will make an appearance.

and the new sealed Skyways are getting cheaper too, can't see why you wouldn't want to pay the extra 30-40 for a proper pair of wheels.....??

ones made of metal ;)

seriously though, those new skyways seem good enough. if you are light/young
i bet if halfords got a batch in, they would shift 'em no problem.
