Yeah its a big drop if you misjudge it  :daumenhoch:
I see you stand like greyhounds in the slips,

Phew . . . glad I'm not on my own with this then  :(

I know exactly where I'd build my ramp but her indoors is having none of it. Apparently, my chosen plot is where the fookin' green house is supposed to go . . . my @rse  ;D

You have to bribe her with offers of loft conversions ect.

Just keep talking about a ramp within her earshot, and slowly wear her down, took me about a year  :daumenhoch:

Explain to her that once she has chosen the colour for the ramp it'll be just a question of building it and when :daumenhoch:

Well we have a attatched garage with a door in to the kitchen, which then has a door in to the garden, so you can walk it straight through  :daumenhoch:

I've just got enough room to build a mini ramp in the lower terrace of our garden, The only thing that would stop me is that the decks would be full of planted tubs as soon as I turned my back.

I showed the wife the pics of Bill's ramp today and casually mentioned that it would be good to do something similar in our back garden, afterall it's (the garden not the ramp  :LolLolLolLol: ) 120 foot long and backs onto horse paddocks  :daumenhoch:.  She took a long look at it and said "Yes, why not?"  :daumenhoch: then she said "you can build one when hell freezes over", so I'm just off to find out how I stitch up the devil and turn his air conditioning right down  ???
