« on: July 22, 2007, 09:24 PM »
I know this ain't a rescue job or anything truly respect worthy like that, but i love this bike,      :smitten:   i've wanted one for ages and would like to thank brianp for the frame steveb for pedals and what not made it not so expensive         :daumenhoch:           She's bit of a mish mash as you can see  primo moes bars (instead of the traditional standards ,castillo's or ,s&m 4 piece), resprayed bash forks, profiles ti axle , hoffman dinky sprocket 36t, odyssey hazard casstte 12 t on sun ryhnolite , ( i know its a gear up) , coalition front on sun ryhnolite , drive pedals (nice 'n lite),snafu seat, shadow meanlite post, and dicky red primo grips they are never the colour shade you want!,     ::)     blackies going on asap. i would kinda class this as a work in progress as i wanted all black wheelset but me mate went on holidays and forgot to give me my new primo balance / gsport wheel before he went :idiot2:  anyways heres some picies   http://i208.photobucket.com/albums/bb55/sveneriklars/P1020115.jpg             http://i208.photobucket.com/albums/bb55/sveneriklars/P1020116.jpg               http://i208.photobucket.com/albums/bb55/sveneriklars/P1020117.jpg           http://i208.photobucket.com/albums/bb55/sveneriklars/P1020107.jpg                http://i208.photobucket.com/albums/bb55/sveneriklars/P1020118.jpg             http://i208.photobucket.com/albums/bb55/sveneriklars/P1020111.jpg        thanks for lookin' and feel free to post bunches of  sta 's here, actually thats a request please post more sta's .

Thanks for pinning em up  mate! that  one of yours is very tidy.  :smitten:   I'm getting a cashius  in black and yellow should be posted up here in a month or so,  i believe they have a real short rear end like around 13.25? , so that will be nice to ride. thanks again. :daumenhoch:

very nice seeing these old STA's both fairly early models too, with the clunkier drop outs :smitten:

i think i might have to set about one in the future!

the "cashius" was john "luc-e" engleberts signature frame, massively underrated that cat, look at how the tech dudes are riding today and compare it to luc-e's riding back then, free-coaster pioneer :daumenhoch:
one of my favourite riders for definite,

the frame was built as an entry level standard,un-capped seat and chainstay's etc,
like dan says, a great "all-rounder"
not sure about the short back end but i can check if you really want to know ;)

any pics of the one youre getting?

btw,
if anyones interested in one i know where thers and absolute peach :daumenhoch:

my much loved old STA ox plat when i first got it,

a few years later, same frame but with v-mounts under the seat stays,

one of the BG cats chromed out mk1

thanks for the info on the cashius ,no picies as yet i suspect mine is sitting in customs,i seriously hope the guy sorting it isn't PMS'ing and sends it back because it's labelled wrong (i've had that b4). LOVED that chrome STA  :smitten:  I know this bit of info doesn't really belong here but i found a dust and chicken shit covered frame today and when i emailed the guy to send me a picie of it cleaned up a bit , turned out it was an as new bright red  kris bennett mk1 so for 40 quid i got another project :D http://i208.photobucket.com/albums/bb55/sveneriklars/bennett.jpg
