i think its a bit dodgy too be honest shall i ask for paypal only or what is the best thing for me to do? ive heard stories of bankers draughts being overpaid then been stung when refunding the difference. Ive no problem if he's honest but just all sounds too fishy to me $:-\$

matey if someone can go to the touble of getting a bankers draft he will more than likely have to pay for that as well, then he can send cash recorded sounds a bit of a bum boy to me

I just said that i'd emailed him on friday when he won my decals and when was he going to contact me about payment. Just made out that i was sick of being messed about.

bankers draughts are dodgy ,it takes a while for the bank to realise its a fake then you have to pay them back , avoid

sounds like a scam to me

fook him off and neg him straight away

There is nothing actually dodgy about Banker's Drafts.

In fact, they are more secure than a cheque. A Banker's Draft is a cheque drawn on a Bank, rather than on a personal bank account.

A cheque is much less secure.

Depending on your bank a fake bankers draft can take up to 6 weeks to be discovered by which time you will have already sent the goods

Not as many as there are fake cheques. It's easier by far to fake a cheque than it is a Banker's Draft.

The only reason you hear about the number of fake Banker's Drafts is because they are generally used for higher denominations of money.
