old rom pics.

i found a some old pics from about '85 whilst clearing the loft out. anyone else got any?








the first 3 are of jason hassle when he was riding for hutch. the 4th is of a rom regular i think he was known as biff? i'm sure someone must remember him. at the holeshot comp at the michael sobbel centre in islington he launched out the top of one of the quater pipes and grabbed hold of the balcony what seemed like miles above. he did it twice once in his run and then again so they could get pictures. i think the sequence was run in bmx action bike.

What is it about old Rom pics? Just cant get enough of em.
I may have some more to post this week, im going to visit one of my old pals who has imformed me, he has a few pics of us riding BITD!

would be good to see the pictures of it to see if it was as big as i remember. at the time it looked huge.

if the day was wet and dominguez was there i was there too. was the first time i see a haro sport as they had one behind the counter

I was at Rom for Fiola, but I remember being ill when Haro was there & I really wanted to go, but my mum wouldn't let me 

Then a few days later when I saw some of my friends they were telling me about the new Haro Sport & Master.

Maybe this is why Haro's are my favourite's

& because there the BEST

I think the day when Bob was there was at the end of the week that the first Kellogs was filmed up North, if I`m right Eddie Fiola and Mike Domingez were there on that day too, but none of us rode because it pissed down all day 

Mind you I think there are some pics of Glyn Lewis riding the performance from that day up above

I seem to remember it did rain but I rode cause Im "THAT ARD"
If anybody has a copy of BMX Action bike with Bob Haros Q and As in then it was the month before that date.

I could be wrong but I think the balcony pop out that was sequenced in Action Bike was the one Dave Slade did, please correct me if I'm wrong. I'm sure Trev will know....

always a treat to see old rom pics....the bloke doing the lookback w/ the neon green pro-teck is my mate Ralph Tribe...he was way rad but quit early on. Great bloke from Cheam, Surrey.
