im not sur but i have a set on a 82 bike with patent pending written on em so i would guess 81 to 82

i can remember buying some in 1982 & i think they were the "latest greatest" grips at that time  :daumenhoch:

I had some back then, but they ain't that comfy I recall nice blisters >:(

Ya F1's were around 82, and were nearly as painful as oakley 3's..... though not half as bad as those f1 imitations that had the hard inner, and an outer that was just as hard!!!!..... dunno what it was with oakley, oakley 2's were great but after that they just got too high tech for their own good.....

My vote for best grip ever though has to be the ame ones that had about ten parts.... a hard bar end and a two piece clamp at the lever end with a soft rubber cover, all in different colours..... had a pair in red white and blue, and have never seen another pair since....
