skyway axle *****NOW WITH PIX*****
« on: July 17, 2007, 10:20 AM »
i've got a front plastic hubbed skyway i'm thinking of using but the cones don't tighten up properly on one side,it's the washer that holds the bearings in place that's worn,do i need to buy a full axle kit or does anyone just sell the washers.

i hope this makes sense,if not i'll get a pic up tonight to show the problem better

no they should be a tight pressure fit, they're there to keep the bearing in/give them some protection from crud, the cone should spin freely within the hole of it.
Hope that makes sense
