GT Pro, what year?

Hopefully someone can help a newbie figure out what year this GT Pro is from by the serial number. The number is 7850090, I was told it was an 85 GT Pro (can't remember whether he said it was a Santa Ana version). Any help appreciated.

Where is the serial number ?

Serial number is on the outside of left dropout. Also meant Nora Cup rather than Santa Ana model in original post

What does the top tube look like blunt or slant behind the seat tube ?

does the back triangle have any holes and does the forks have a hole for a brake ?

Hi Gashead, slanted end of the top tube which I know means it isn't very early 80s, will try and post some pics this evening, thanks for all the info.

the 85 GT pro,s had cutouts in the fork dropouts.cant see any pictures on this feckin work computer.

85 gt pro, the 4 on the dropout indicates that it is a pro model. and it's from july 85 as someone stated. looking at the dropouts i think it used to belong to hulk hogan or somebody with a three foot spanner

Mmm 85 Pro but them forks are not for that frame mate, should look more like Nick's on the Mach 1 with square cut outs and a brake hole
