no need to use a blow torch !!!!! tighten up a stem at the top of the seat post soak again in wd40 and keep twisting, this worked a treat for a seat post that had rusted in over 25 years for me, and for gods sake put the blow torch AWAY   :daumenhoch:

or, if u dont wanna keep the post, centre punch it, then drill a series of hole through the post until u get to bout 8 mill diametre, find an old screw driver or metal bar that will fit into the holes, and u can try to lever it free, if not the blow torch... :daumenhoch:

clamp the seatpost in a vice and twist the frame off it!
it may mangle the post a bit though

try this also....... will the post shift if u hammer down on it vertically? if yes, then cut it off at the top of the seat tube, and using the old seat post, hammer the remaining post down into the seat tube far enough so u can fit a new one, no one will no the difference. :daumenhoch:

No Blow Torches... No hammers.  ;D

Get some Plus gas releasing agent and try that fit a seat to use as leverage when twisting....  If that fails i usually cut the post off about an inch or two proud and then use a hacksaw blade to cut the post internally into segments.

hit the top of it, get it in an inch further, this will break the seals, then bung some wd down the hole leave for 5 mins and grip it out, if you dont break the "weld" by hitting the post the wd cant penatrate

clamp the seatpost in a vice and twist the frame off it!
it may mangle the post a bit though

quoted for truth :daumenhoch:

is there an expansion hole inside the bottom bracket shell? where the bottom of the seat tube meets?
if there is, stand the frame upside down and keep squirting wd/oil/plusgas/diesel in there so it runs down to the bottom of the seat post,

i finally got the seized solid post out of my old standard frame by crushing the top of the seat post tube in a vice and using the frame to get the leverage to break the bond,

stand on the bench to pull the frame upwards whilst twisting, it'll screach like a bitch as it comes out,but it'll let go eventually,

best of luck :daumenhoch:
