what midschool race wheels are there, im building an early mid elf racer and i know that there are t1000s and sun rhino rims but what other options are there, piccys appreciated

Ive got these Sun Mistral rims on a couple of early 90s bikes, both with DK hubs. One set is chrome, one set is sort of smoke chrome dark grey

I always like Sun BlackBox rims for mid school wheelbuilds - they look the part and are still in production!

the blackbox rims are a bit new schooly for me, the elf is 1990ish doublecross

lookin for black wheelset for it, at the moment im stuck with gt rhythm wheels but need something else

Crupi, JP or TNT hubs laced into chrome RB-17's with stainless spokes and alloy nipples topped off with either Tioga Comp 3's or GT Megabyte's.......The ultimate mid school wheels. :smitten:

I just went and had a look at the wheels on my Green Holmes. I knew they were Sun but they are chinook ... and they are hard anodised dark grey. Thats what you wanna get!!!
