It's amazing to think S&M is now 20 years old.  I first heard of it around 90/91.

Alex, how much did Specialized really offer Chris for the company in the mid-90s?  I've heard different amounts from $1m to $5m.  Fair play to Moeller for not selling out.

It was $1m, sometime in the mid 90s ... but not out right. It was over time, with a "steady job" for Moeller, but non of his S&M staff. He was more worried about his staff all being out of work.

Id LOOVE to go to the 20 year party, but it would cost me way to much to take all the bikes Id wanna take!

Good on him.

The company must be worth 10 times that now.
