Taska Freecoaster
« on: July 07, 2007, 11:09 PM »
I just took delivery of my second Taska freecoaster. The first was stolen along with the bike it was attached to a couple of years back, and I only got to use it for a couple of weeks.
Unlike the first, this one has an 18-tooth cog.
I guess the questions to ask would be:
Who makes cogs that will fit the Taska?
What sizes are there?
Where can I get them? -If anyone knows, it'd be really handy not to have to call every store in Ride Magazine.
Alternatively:
Has anyone got a spare they can sell me? Maximum 16t. I've got a 36t sprocket that's never been used and it seems a shame to leave it gathering dust in the box of spares.

Next thing will be a good but cheap rim & some spokes, then it's back to George's excellent wheelbuilding tutorial for an evening of productive labour.
