Washers between nuts and dropouts
« on: July 04, 2007, 06:02 PM »
I've been strongly advised to get some washers on the back wheel to go between the nuts and frame dropouts, which I intend to do.  Do I need to put some on the forks as well?

Where's the best place to get some and what size?

They are called dropouts aren't they?   :crazy2:  [blond moment]

any hardware store or halfords  will sell them ,10mm are your usual axle sizes
and i fit them onfront and rear  as it stops axle nuts chewing the paint of and marking.
