is both the front and the rear brake supposed to have the small adjustment screw at the top?  I've just paid a shitload for two black nos MX 1000's and the rear does not have one????

If it's the centralising screw then they did them without them on the earlier ones but if it has the ovalised brace on the spindle you may be missing the screw part
