Back in 87ish one of my mates fell off on track racing and had a open face lid on with mouth trap,
landed with his face on deck and the mouth trap ripped the side of his mouth towards his ear open
(bit like a chelsea smiler) scarred for life and hurt like hell, proper mess!

Full face all the way.

Anyone know where to get a good deal on a full face for one race a year at MK??????????

Any lid that meets road bike standard will be ok, the only thing might be weight :daumenhoch:

For the money you can't go wrong, but it might be a little heavy.

Hi Jezza :daumenhoch:

I got one of those Nitro MX411 lids.....it says on the back of the lid 1350+50g so can anyone advise if this is heavy in comparison to other lids. Personally I don't thinks it's heavy, most of it is my brain :LolLolLolLol:

For reference, just weighed by Bell Bellistic one and it's 964g but it's an MTB one rather than MX, I think.
