Hello all
I found this on the bay it looks bloody mad so i bought it

The discrption said it was from the 80's but the guy wasn't sure. It's nos and still in the genuine box

It was designed by world champion rocket men “Henk Vink & Sammy Miller” It's called a Rocket X1 and it sure looks different to the norm

.I'm gonna build it up into a show peice but can anyone tell me anything about it

Im sure bmx bi-weekly did a test on one. i would hazard a guess at 83-84.

there is one on site some were
and heard the bottom brackets just fell of whilst riding em llol

khe mounted a bb just like that on their first premium lagger frame
it was recalled due to being dangerously unsafe!!

nice rocket frameset mate

their flimsility makes them all the more rare!

Sod riding the thing it's a death trap with that BB

It's just gonna be for show..You can see on the box that the chap riding it looks kind of uncomfortable in the air thinking "$hit

is the BB gonna snap off when i land?"

Can anyone think of some bars i can get to follow the weird funky curvey theme of the frame...Something thats quite easy to get hold of (not rocking horse $hit or mega expensive)

Have a look through some of your old school mags and see if you can see an advert for one and let me know the date of the magazine to give me a idea
