Crash helmet ?
I see you stand like greyhounds in the slips,
Straining upon the start. The game's afoot:
Follow your spirit, and upon this charge
Cry 'God for Harry, England, and Saint George!'

I do remember someone mentioning the helmet thing on some of your other posts with your son riding and I think the proofs in the pudding there.

It's not big and it's not clever, I know I sound like an old sod but concrete hurts!

HELMET!

Daz.
Do you know what "nemesis" means? A righteous infliction of retribution manifested by an appropriate agent. Personified in this case by an 'orrible cnut... ME!
