Can you dye brake cable outers?, i want to change colour.

Hi i have a skyway spinmaster set-up with white cables. i want to change these to black will they dye ? or does any one know how i could do this without them looking crap as i can't get black cables for this. thanks.

plastic and rubber doesnt go so well.

get some coloured shrink wrap.

  really need them to be black, white cables will fook my MK build right up, I may try spraying with plasticote paint

                        yep bought another beat monday eve, my other beat won't be ready for MK so am building something a bit different to bring along, white cables will not go unfortunatly, may have to fit a spinmaster2 instead.

maplins used to sell it. how long do you need it? the car shop near me sells black, i thought you'd want a fancy colour....

£2.50 i think with all the bits!

                                          the spinmaster giro has loads of short cables with funny non standard shape ends on both ends of the cables to make it work, it will probley be cack and won't work when i fit it anyway.

are spin masters the detanglers that have one cable going through the top of your stem body, into the spinny bit and two coming out, if so i need one and where can i get one from?

in my neck of the woods black cables fall from the trees. white ones left the building with the dodos  there is no way i would dye a white cable just in case i needed it for a future build.
