Some very early pics from Walthamstow track
« on: June 24, 2007, 12:11 AM »
I really thought these pics were lost years ago, but I found them the other month and just got them scanned.. Hope you enjoy :daumenhoch:

My bike in the middle, my mate Jamie riding it

Me havin a go at a table top

My mate Leeroy, with a spanking Kuwi

My mate Jay

I wasnt exactly David Bailey

Power wheelie on the berm, lol the track was as small as Hersden

Huge drop off in some flats near the track

Kickturn in the dark

How I wish the pic had all of me in the shot

Random wheelie

This reminds me of that magazine shot outside burger king, we did it years before them, shame the pic is so bad

Good bale, see the grafitti on the fence, Cav Strutt called me tuff boy, and decided to paint it on the wall

Another angle on the drop in

My goose after a few mods and crashes, check my mums front room, that grafitti is still there 26 years later, allbeit under wallpaper now ;D

I could jump bitd, wish I could now

Finally a race pic from Buckmore Park, Keith Wilson in front. Tony Slater and Chris Simmons waiting for the next moto

Chris Simmons leads me at Southampton in 1982

It was a great place, shame we didnt have the cameras we have today, we had some superstars over there as well, bob haro came over there when he was in london, so did a blonde torker rider, jason someone??. Bob refused to ride our quarter pipe as it was too dangerous >:D . I also remember he had his hair cut very short. I asked him where his hair had gone, he replied he wanted to look like us UK lads when he came over, was a great bloke!!
