I thought about a set of Slams, are the ones available today made to the same spec?  What about TNT pro bars, any good?  Looking for something around 26 to 27 inch width  :daumenhoch:

TNT Retro bars are/were my bar of choice until my tennis elbow kicked in and because of their straightness I have had to change to Slams (still run them on my cruiser though)
I have a set of Xposures here spare  :coolsmiley:
 :) DINGO :)

That's another pair of quite large bars  :LolLolLolLol:

Think I'll try and get something with a 7 to 8 inch rise, unless anyone has any really good condition chrome Slams (Alex?) they want rid of????  I've got some Hoffman Jump Bars (off Stodgy) but they are a bit too narrow for me as they have been cut down to 24" width although I though they might be OK for a race bike I do need something a bit wider  :(

Just get some new Slams, they are pretty much the same shape they have been for years. Safer for a rider cos you will know they are brand new and not abused. Also, you can now get butted Slam bars so they will ride the same but are lighter. On top of all that, the chrome will be perfect and they will be un-cut.

Like your thinking Alex, and it looks as though Alans have them so might grab a pair from there  :daumenhoch:

The GT pro series bars also look really nice and have about the specs you want. They've also got a really good looking oval top tube.

DK 4 piece bars are cool......But when all is said and done, I'd say Slams all the way.

Sorry its a bit late, only just read this thread. ::)

I've got some Exposures on my late 90s Ripper and they are way lower and look smaller than those quite large things you put the picture up of. They are a nice set of bars, I would recomend them if I know what model they were. They are blue with a animie girls face on the sticker, I got them second hand with the frame, so they might be cut down.

I think mine were the race version, they were painted red but possibly the same as yours Mr Fox
