Cheapo bikes.
« on: November 03, 2005, 03:27 PM »
Does anyone have any pictures of any of the old cheapo bikes that none of us really wanted bitd but got anyway because our parents wouldn't buy us a Supergoose?

Stuff like Pirahnas, Team Murrays (which is what I had) or Giants?

I realize that any pictures forthcoming will be old ones of people on their rides bitd, as I doubt anyone is realizing a twenty five year old dream to own a Pirahna! It'd be cool to see them again though.

I'm gonna dig out my old pics and send them in when I visit my mum the next time.

Don't you believe it
i had one BITD and have got one again, its last on my list for Restro
but some how i think i will enjoy it the most for the "that's what i had 25 year ago" factor

Jesus - Bingley Hall, I remember that place. Loads of crashes into concrete pillars as I remember.

What year did racing take place at Bingley Hall (my memory isn't what it used to be)

I was a little lighter back then! ;D

I did have them swapped pretty regularly if I remember right.....always breaking them.
Halfords must have hated me!
