Don't show Lazarou, S&M Alex, BSD, YGT and the other mid-school boys...they'll be round to rape you.

Double WOW!

Man I'm loving those. Very very very special and probably the rarest set of wheels on this site.

Right then we need Phil Evan's Condor back off YGT now!!  :daumenhoch:

it just shows how well built some of the midschool stuff was :daumenhoch:

built to last.

are they "rolled threads" on the axle?
will the nuts be hard to find?
you could at a push have the old ones plated/polished,

they look great dan, well chuffed! :4_17_5:

the threads are mad,i have tried so different nuts none are anywere near.
so i will get some made.
i was thinking of getting some 14mm axles and resized bearings so i can fit them easier.
but i will retain the big boys on the shelf if i change them.
they had a purpose ,strength and they lasted   :)

i'm no expert like but i think the threads on the axle do look "rolled", way stronger than a regular thread, you wouldnt need chain tugs with the amount of torque you could put on them ther badboys!

rekka made some fooking great stuff, the headset cups as on stodgy's condor were soooooo tough,

i can see what you mean about the fitting issue, what bike are they destined for dan?

at the moment they are sitting in the early taj frame as the rear dropouts
had been opened to 14mm and roughly done so i smoothed out the edges
and they slotted in.what they will end up in well thats the question.
